Song of the day: “Hold On Hope” by Guided By Voices (2000)

And folding out mysteriously
Where lies the chance we take to be
Always working
Reaching out for a hand that we can’t see
Everybody’s got a hold on hope
It’s the last thing that’s holding me.
Used famously in an episode of “Scrubs.” No dialogue on this clip, couldn’t find one with the dialogue intact and in English. But you can pick it up from context. J.D. fantasizes a happy outcome: but then has to tell Ben, Dr. Cox’s brother-in-law and best friend, that he has leukemia.
I kind of identify with Dr. Cox on this one. Yeah.
Touched.
“Scrubs” had the most amazing music. The only show I think has ever come close is “House.”
