Song of the night: “King of Spain” by Moxy Früvous

I was reminiscing the other day with my friend Dick Sethre (stay tuned for his blog, folks, it’s gonna be awesome) about Moxy Früvous. Who I’ve referenced here and here. (Moxy, not Dick.)

This was the second independent (self-released, DIY) song to hit number one in Canada, after Barenaked Ladies’ “Be My Yoko Ono.”

And it’s guaranteed to become an earworm. But a fun one.
