Reblog: Settling

By Tony Rush

Life will pretty much give you whatever you’re willing to settle for.

If you’re willing to settle for a life where you have to figure out how to keep your electricity and phone turned on at the same time…life will let you have that.

And if you’re willing to settle for your biggest problems being “how to make ends meet”…..then life will let you have that.

Or….

You can settle for first-class airline tickets instead of coach. And you can settle for a late-model car rather than a 10+ year old clunker. You can settle for staying at the Intercontinental or the Ritz-Carlton instead of the Motel 6.

Life doesn’t care.

Get that. Really get that.

Life…does….not…..care….either way.

LIFE DOES NOT CARE.

It’s a choice. And the way you make your “choice” is by deciding whether you want to be a person who “settles” for less than you deserve….

….or if you’re going to be the kind of person who has the courage to make a run for it.

Life’s a choice. Choose well.
