When life gives you lemons, see if you can at least trade them for limes. Who the hell makes lemonade from scratch these days? Seems like a tremendous waste of time for something you could just as easily buy ready-made, and have it be of equal or better quality. At least I can put limes in my crappy Mexican beer to make it taste better.

Made this today while waiting for the snow to stop.
Ginger and lemon, two of my three (or four) favorite flavors.
I added Chinese five-spice at the end, which is an “optional” ingredient. I believe I’ll leave that out when making this for Thanksgiving with the fam.
