New wheels. New for me, anyway.
An ’08 Pontiac Torrent. A crossover SUV, like a Chevy Equinox or a Honda CRV or a Toyota RAV-4. Low miles, great condition. Only one previous owner, who leased it in Québec before it was re-sold in Michigan. The “véhicule officiel paquet olympique,” I’ll have you know. Ooh la la. Thus the little stickers that say “Objects In Mirror May Be Closer Than They Appear” are in French. (See above.)

Everything else is in English, though. Good thing, too, or else I’d start talking like Pepé Le Pew whenever I drive it. “Quelle est? Ah, le belle auto nouveau! (snifffff…) Mmmmmm… Un smellez-vous finay!”
If you’re in East Central Minnesota and looking for a car, you would do well to take a look at Mora Chevrolet-Buick. If you talk with Bruce or Mark or Doug, tell them I sent you.
He wrote French! I never saw you in Madame Premack’s class! 🙂
But of course, my leetle pigeon…
